Day 9 - Parked Tree

Day 9?

Well, a week ago I said I'd take the Daily Painting thing one day at a time, and I made it a week. I had an epiphany yesterday while working on my newest batch of underpaintings. Read about it HERE!

Meanwhile, to fill in for today is "Parked Tree" which was another of my plein air pieces from the AIS paintout last month. The day's wanderings had brought me to the Wildseed Farms, but it had rained the day before and all of my painting stuff was scattered about my vehicle from having painted from the driver's seat (See "Parked on a Rainy Afternoon.") I got to the farms and while I debated how to gather it all up I got distracted by this backlit tree at the edge of the parking lot, and decided I could just leave all the stuff where it was and paint from the car again!

I decided I didn't like the distant bushes/trees, so I took them out.
