It's bunny time again! I didn't have my camera in the studio today so I have no progress shots, but below is the reference photo and how I cropped and color adjusted it...
10% of the sale of this painting will be donated to the House Rabbit Society.

A portrait commission from last Christmas. I've painted all of this client's grandchildren so far, some of them three times! He's set a tradition to have them each done every five years. Lovely client! (and lovely granddaughter!)
Here are some progress shots:

Finally, my finished demo from the little workshop with the Pastel Society of the Southwest earlier this month. I've painted this stylish gal a couple times before; she's a favorite of my reference shots!
Speaking of workshops, I still have just a couple of spaces left (I think!) in each of my spring workshops coming up soon! Durango, CO, March 31 - Apr 2, and Lee's Summit, MO (near Kansas City) Apr 14-16. Visit my workshop page for registration info on each!

I had a good couple of one-day workshops this weekend. This was today's demo for the workshop with the Texas Pastel Society in San Antonio. (Yesterday's demo still needs a few tweaks and I'll be posting later in the week.)
Tomorrow I get to load a U-Haul van with my portrait sketching booth and set up at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, which runs Feb 9-26. (Find us in Booth 400 in the Freeman Coliseum, doing portraits and caricatures!)
