"Road Trip 101" (pastel, 7x10 inches) click here to bid or buy
Since I'm into some landscape posts, here's the last one from my recent summer workshop road trip (done from a photo of Hwy 101; unfortunately California wasn't on my schedule this year.) This was my landscape demo from Gastonia NC last month. A student let me try her watercolor pad, which I spread my Golden fine pumice gel and Quinacridone nickel azo gold color onto. It worked out pretty well. Has a slightly different texture to the paper; not as rough as cold-pressed.

Valentia (and California Workshop!)
"Valentia" (pastel, 6x6 inches) click here to bid
Valentia is the last of my 'Rodeo' batch, but I've got a larger donkey done to post tomorrow, if there's time!
I also have news! My first California Workshop has been finalized and is now open for registration! Click the flyer below to read the details, or see all the info and payment link on my Workshop Page!
And, some progress shots of Velentia: (not very many.. got in the zone and forgot the camera!)
