Warm Fuzzy #55 "Big Little Bull" (pastel, 12x12 inches) $575 framed

My latest warm fuzzy from Tuesday's Virtual Open Studio day. This little bull is a miniature Hereford, he was so cute, only stood as tall as my chest!

I hadn't done a Speed Video demo recently, so I decided to make one for "Big Little Bull."

It's just the pastel part, since I had this one underpainted from way back.

I caught the reference photo of this mama and baby longhorn on one of my trips out to Round Top Texas to the Gallery there (sadly, now closed.) I'm always excited to find beautiful animals showing affection with one another.

This pastel painting has been featured in a couple of my Virtual Open Studio days. All in all, this painting took about 13-15 hours from start to finish.

Hillary (speed demo!)

Another demo from last Friday. One of my girls from the workshop (who happens to be a Democrat)  bought Hillary and Bernie, and so she had the privilege of naming them! I file my artwork by title, so I was happy to have two names that I'd not yet used.

I had some good video footage of Hillary, so here's another speed demo!

Had a pretty fantastic workshop in Rockport Texas over the weekend. I took lots of video and used up all my camera batteries! It might take me a while to sift through the vids and format and compose for online viewing, but here's a quick one of Skipper, sped up!

I also finally remembered to set up my camera on a tripod for video, and so here's my very first video 'speed-demo' that I figured out how to edit, format and upload all by myself! (Apologies for the low resolution, larger files kept giving me errors when uploading... sigh - I'll figure out this technical stuff eventually!)
